Before we ever buy a truck, an independent third-party inspection service runs a comprehensive 150+ point evaluation covering the engine, drivetrain, frame, brakes, electronics, and more. If the truck doesn't pass, we don't buy it. Once it arrives at our lot, our team runs a second inspection and full diagnostic.

First Class 8 Truck Sales is a locally owned, used semi truck dealership based in Belvidere, Illinois — between Rockford and Chicago, right off I-90. We opened in 2023 with a simple goal: be the dealership we'd want to buy a truck from.

Every truck we sell is third-party inspected with a 150+ point evaluation before we buy it, then re-inspected by our own team after it arrives. We specialize exclusively in Class 8 and serve owner-operators, first-time buyers, no-CDL investors, and fleets of every size across northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin.

Where are you located?

We're at 6442 Logan Ave Unit A, Belvidere, IL 61008 — just off I-90, 15 minutes east of Rockford and 75 minutes northwest of Chicago.

Do you offer financing on used semi trucks?

Yes. We work with multiple commercial truck lenders and can pre-qualify most buyers in under 24 hours, including buyers with less-than-perfect credit.

What brands of used trucks do you sell?

We specialize in Freightliner, Volvo, Peterbilt, Kenworth, Mack, and International — sleepers, day cabs, and select trailers.

Do you buy used trucks?

Can I get a truck inspected before I buy?

Absolutely. We encourage pre-purchase inspections and can coordinate with a third-party shop if you're buying from out of state.

Do you ship trucks out of state?

We can help arrange transport. Most of our out-of-state buyers either fly in to drive the truck home or use a transport service we can recommend.
